A formal debate betweenDavid Bonner and Paul Nichols regarding the existence or absence of Biblical authority to require that all saints present in an assembly on Sundays eat from one loaf and drink from one cup during the Lord's Supper.

PROPOSITION 1:   "The Scriptures teach that when the local church assembles for the Lord's Supper only one cup (drinking vessel) may be used for the distribution of the fruit of the vine.”
